Paul Newman was a word – famous actor and passionate about horology and motorsport, his wife gifted him this watch to pay a tribute to his passions. This watch has a unique black and cream exotic dial. It is estimated that only one in twenty Daytonas were given the exotic dial as they were originally slow to sell. Once Newman was spotted wearing the watch whilst perusing his racing career, the price escalated, and the watch was sold for a hefty sum later at auction.
