Wilson Watches is a proud one-man operation based in Northern Ireland with over half a decade of experience dealing in pre-owned Rolex watches and other luxury brands of the highest quality! Founder Peter Wilson has turned his lifelong passion for watches into Wilson Watches, supplying gorgeous timepieces of an impeccable standard for the most discerning of clients. But watches aren’t Peter’s only passion. When the opportunity presents itself, Peter adores supporting charitable organisations and initiatives to help support those who need it most!

Now one such opportunity has come from an incredible and unique organisation, Speed of Sight! Speed of Sight is dedicated to helping people with blindness, disabilities, and sensory disorders. They do this by hosting events at racetracks around the Northwest to allow people with visual impairments and disabilities the opportunity to experience the wind rushing through their hair as they whip around the track. The charity uses specially modified cars with dual controls (similar to what driving schools use) and a fully qualified instructor ensures that the driver remains safe throughout the experience!

The modified cars also come equipped with hand controls for those who struggle to use the pedals, so these events are available for people with physical disabilities, injuries, and motor disorders like cerebral palsy. Speed of Sight’s mission is to change lives with their experiences and so they are tailored to anyone who has been told they will never drive due to blindness, injury, or disability!

Wilson Watches is proud to support this mission with a monthly donation to help fund their track days and the day-to-day operations of this wonderful charitable organisation. Speed of Sight is a fantastic cause to support, and they are expanding all the time! From racing around dirt tracks and private carparks a decade ago to being invited to host their grand finale event of the season at world-famous Silverstone Circuit this year, the trajectory of this charity is exciting, and Wilson Watches is proud to be a part of it!
